March thru May, ages 5-16, the objective of girls softball is to provide a quality adult supervised program that allows all girls the opportunity to learn the fundamentals f the game. Adults involved must make decisions that are in the best interest of the girls and the program, not what is best for them.
Sober Graduation is designed as a positive alternative to a high school party. This is an all night party where kids can participate in activities to win prizes. The reason for an all night party is the bigger prizes are raffled at the end of the night so the kids are enticed to stay with us the entire evening. Since the inception of Sober Graduation in 1984, there have, fortunately been no accidents involving alcohol on graduation night.
July – August, coed, ages 5-13, The Junior Giants baseball program is a non-competitive program that places a higher value on character than on wins and losses. Junior Giants works to instill values in the “classroom” of a baseball setting, educating kids on both the game of baseball and the game of life. www.jrgiants.org
Flag football: Sept. – Nov, coed, ages 8-13, this is also a non-competitive program that is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship.
Kops for Kids: Kops for Kids is a Christmas program designed to help needy families in the community who cannot afford to provide Christmas presents for their kids during the holidays.
